From the bridges, tunnels and roads that many drive on, to the buildings and homes that we humans inhabit and work on. We take a lot of things for granted, because none of this would exist without the specialized work of civil engineers. Civil engineers are people whose job is to design, build, direct, and ensure projects are on budget. Some of the things these people design are used in our daily lives. Examples of this are buildings, roads, bridges, tunnels and even the underground sewer system. Since they also have to move around a lot, their lives become a little more stressful. In order to maintain numerous job sites, their job requires them to travel to many different locations for a few days. With an average annual salary of around $79,340 excluding taxes, they manage to live a decent life. However, after taxes, these people earn $51,799, which then gives them a monthly salary of $4,316. To the average American, this is considered middle class. I woke up early in the morning around 3 am and started my usual routine. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I had to get up really early today because I had to go to a small town in Pennsylvania and help some builders build a new shop that was supposed to be finished next week, which would be really difficult. I didn't have much time to spare, so I grabbed three granola bars, put some pasta from last night in a container, and headed out to the parking lot to my Honda CR-Z. I started the engine and spent a good 4 hours until arriving at the site at 7:00. The construction workers were already preparing all the materials for today, so I went to my office which was outside, next to the unfinished building and in the middle of a paper......I want to buy this apartment. because it includes all the luxuries that a regular house has, for example, a basketball court, tennis courts and plenty of parking spaces so I can invite people to stay at my place at any time. The last thing a civil engineer should strategically purchase was groceries. As a civil engineer has to travel a lot, he must always have something to eat on the go. For example, if you have to travel to Pennsylvania at 7:00 a.m., you won't have enough time to stop shopping at Starbucks and drink a good cup of coffee. This is why I choose to buy lots of granola bars so that I can easily grab three or four when I need to go somewhere. I also bought a lot of water bottles for the same reason. For lunch and dinner, I always eat microwaveable pasta or pizza. I chose these because you can easily reheat food and have a quick lunch or dinner to fall asleep..
