    Suicide has become one of the many ways that problematic individuals consider to free themselves from an unpleasant or oppressive situation. Suicide can be generally defined as causing death, usually out of despair. People at risk of committing suicide are those who suffer from serious mental illnesses and who use alcohol and drugs. Apart from this, people going through unemployment and divorce can also be potential victims of such an act. According to a 1997 study, an average of fifteen percent of clinically depressed people ended up committing suicide. Additionally, suicide was the eighth leading cause of death in the United States (“Suicide”). It is common for depressed people to consider suicide when major life issues are not working well. The big question is: what makes a person think that ending their life can help them escape reality when life has so much more to offer? The reasons why people choose suicide over solving complex problems are complex. However, one of the main causes of suicide is the feeling of helplessness that one feels after going through difficult phases in life. Impotence usually leads to depression which can lead to suicide. Some may feel unloved and victimized in ways that trigger suicidal thoughts. For other helpless people, suicide seems to be the only option left to escape what is happening. They may view suicide as a kind of “escape.” Additionally, suicide provides relief from horrible feelings like frustration and rejection. Additionally, adolescents who committed suicide or were considering suicide were more likely to be under pressure or stress because of...... middle of paper ...... is even considered an option for many reasons such as depression and feelings of hopelessness that lead us to the effects of suicide on others. However, cases of suicide can decrease if and only if everyone plays their role to make it work. In short, suicide is never the best way to solve a problem. This may seem like the only “way out” to avoid facing real-world difficulties. However, there are always other choices we can choose from in order to resolve the complications we face on a daily basis.
