    I was raised Catholic and never really connected with it, so I was spiritual for a very long time and read about a lot of different religions to see if I would do it. integrate into any of them. Once I started reading about Hinduism, my mind opened and I was like “wow”. I believed it, it was incredible, and I didn't really think anyone else believed what I believed. I kept reading and reading and reading. After about a year or two of reading, I finally decided to go to a temple. It was really scary because I didn't know what to expect, but everyone was so nice and it felt so good to be in a community like I felt. Just praying with people brings a new level to spirituality. There is one thing about doing Puja at home, but doing it with such passion in the company of other people with such passion, there is nothing like it. Hinduism is much more a way of life than a simple religion. It affects every aspect of your being, what you think, what you feel, what you do. It made me very humble when I realize that God is in me, in this rock, in this piece of grass and in this little insect. I am so grateful for everything.
