All injury records will be kept on file for a minimum of three years. Food and safety/hygiene – that doesn’t come to mind. Cosh/chemicals – that doesn’t come to mind. All first aid kits are kept throughout the gymnasium. The kitchen, admin and general manager have first aid kits on the first floor and then we have another one in the gymnasium, they are all well stocked. They do not contain anything that the first aider has not been trained to use, so they will not contain any medications such as creams, lotions and medications. Again, the rescuers are Kate Collins, Steph Hallett, Cerys John and Ruth Tucker. . There is always a first aider on duty. If medical treatment is required and I was on duty, my role would be to dial 999 and ask the emergency services to send an ambulance providing the address and nature of the injury.
