Nowadays, forests play a very important role in maintaining biodiversity. It provides plenty of oxygen and also plays an important role in our life. The world's tropical forests are an almost immeasurable resource, supporting many people, as well as countless animal and plant species (National Geographic, nd). Additionally, they contribute to air circulation, maintaining water quality and global climate stability. Despite its many advantages, it also has many disadvantages, such as people using the trees to make furniture and cutting down the trees to make paper. Deforestation occurs because the paper industry uses trees to produce paper. Additionally, Indonesia's paper industry has generally destroyed the environment. The demand for paper consumption is increasing rapidly day by day. Due to the increased demand for paper, many people are also starting to cut down their trees for professional purposes, meaning this could be dangerous for our environment in the future. For these reasons, there is an urgent need for useful and comprehensive theoretical work that helps us understand the forces that lead to increasing consequences...... middle of article ......ng/deforestation-overview /National Geographic.
