If people spent more time focusing on their lives rather than everything else, people would be a lot happier in the world. Many people focus on things that aren't important at all or focus on their career or goals but have lives full of drama and upheaval. Your life is your foundation and your goals and career are what are built on your foundation. If you pile tons of stuff on top of something that doesn't have stable support, it will eventually collapse. People need to focus more on living happily and learning that it's okay to take care of themselves.
