    Even though we have the power to heal ourselves, we also have the power to prevent what wants to happen, when we refuse to forgive, we cling to anger and resentment without healing. Being present to oneself in a way that honors and respects the divine within inspires greater awareness and maturity. When we choose to live as a victim, by blaming others for our misfortune, by not wanting to forgive or by not trusting our inner instinct which pushes us to do so, it is because we are disconnected, by refusing to accept your authentic self. Being in touch with our authentic self means that we listen to our inner voice that calls us back to a familiar place, where peace, love and compassion reside, informing us to do what makes us feel best; whole and complete, not focusing on what has happened to us, but informing us to let go of everything that makes us uncomfortable. Of course, this process involves taking the client to a place where they can discover answers and solutions themselves. It is understood that years of unnecessary suffering can be very painful and difficult, making it difficult for a person to go through this process. However, establishing a solid foundation with a client, based on their desire and willingness to make wise and healthy choices, can ignite the power within and provide opportunities for healing. Bring the client to a place of acceptance, realizing that all life experiences have value, meaning, and purpose, and helping the client find ways to act effectively, reorienting their language and conversation in ways that help him to flourish and explore other options. . The ultimate goal is to strive to be healthy, so that we can better serve ourselves and others, especially in difficult times.
